Dear President Obama:

Braille is extremely important because blind kids won’t learn how to read or write without it. Also they can have a good time reading. Reading is important for your brain. That’s why it is so important to have Braille.

I am not blind, but my mom and dad are. If they could not read Braille, they could not read funny stories to children. That is why it is so important to have Braille. So please teach more blind people to read Braille.

Love,

Victoria Bell, seven years old

P.S. I voted for you in our class.
