Braille Calendars & Free Literature for Affiliates

As announced last night during the Septemeber Presidential Release, take advantage of several items to share in your local area to members or during upcoming events. 

American Action Fund Braille Calendars

The American Action Fund for Blind Children and Adults has graciously extended to all National Federation of the Blind affiliates up to fifty 2022 Braille calendars. These are the 6 x 6 1/2 inch pocket calendars that have the month, date, day, and pertinent holidays. 

If your affiliate would like to receive some of these wonderfully in-house made calendars, please send an email to Jen White at [email protected] no later than September 30.

Free Literature for Blind Equality Achievement Month

Free literature is available for your events such as general information brochures, Braille alphabet cards, or the Courtesy Rules of Blindness through the Independence Market. Email [email protected] or call 410-659-9314, extension 2216.

White Cane Awareness Day Proclamation

Organize a celebration for White Cane Awareness Day on October 15 with the White Cane Awareness Day Proclamation template. The template is available to print or share digitally. Fill in the details of your local area and identify a city council member or mayor to sponsor the proclamation.
