Challenging Expectations at Work, School, and Home
Those without equal access to technology struggle to succeed in school, in the workplace, and in their communities. Vispero’s commitment to accessibility and partnership with the Federation challenges expectations and helps us achieve independence. One of our 2022 national scholarship winners shared:
I am thankful for access technology for opening the access to my computer after my vision loss three years ago. My path has been a very bumpy road with technology, but these tools have saved me. Thank you and keep building an accessible world!
Thank you for contributing to our mission and helping us transform dreams into reality. Learn more about the challenge.
About White Cane Awareness Day
The National Federation of the Blind celebrates White Cane Awareness Day every year on October 15. Like accessible technology, the white cane is an essential tool that gives blind people the ability to achieve full and independent lives. It allows us to move freely and safely from place to place—whether it's at work, at school, or around our communities.
