LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

4/1/05

I receive the Voice of the Diabetic, and I enjoy it very much. It is very educational, and keeps me up to date on what’s going on, plus the stories of other’s lives is inspirational. I am an inmate, and was just diagnosed with diabetes last year. It has been hard to deal with, especially here. I’ve been listed a brittle diabetic, and I’m trying to learn all I can. That is why your magazine is so important to me.

I always look forward to each issue. I describe Voice of the Diabetic as a “community” paper. It’s positive, educational, and comforting for all involved. When I read it I feel that everyone who works on it truly cares. Which is rare these days.

Thank you for your time, and may your days be blessed.

Thank you so much. I really look forward to getting these tapes. Also the three magazines I pass on.

I learn so much from the information you share. Again, I thank you.

I love the magazine, and I think it is the best publication out there on diabetes.

Thanks a lot.

I saw your newspaper, Voice of the Diabetic, while waiting in the doctor’s office recently. I was very impressed with the articles, and most of all the practical information it included for diabetics.

Thank you!

I have received several copies of the publication, and have read them with much interest, as well as a great deal of admiration -- for the tremendous work involved putting these together, and the much-needed service performed, circulating them to so many people who must gain immeasurably from the information provided. My own insight has increased since I’ve been reading some of your articles.

My mother has been blind almost all my life -- over 50 years -- but I am still learning about how she may actually perceive herself and the world around her. I realize only those in her situation can truly understand, but it helps us too, no matter how much we think we know.

Mr. Bryant has kindly offered to send me extra copies when her article comes out in a couple of months, and I would like to make a donation to show my appreciation, as well as cover a small portion of the expenses involved. Thank you.

Your publication is my newly acquired educational source and I am very grateful for your caring ways in which I continue to receive this valuable information. (I wish I’d known it sooner!)

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for caring.
