Past Conventions Federationists stand at general session exciting about our cause!

Each year the National Federation of the Blind holds its national convention in the summer. More than 3,000 delegates participate from across the United States as well as many foreign countries.

At these conventions the President of the National Federation of the Blind, gives an annual presidential report and banquet address. In years past Kenneth Jernigan, formerly President, gave the presidential report and banquet address. National Convention Banquet Speeches
Conventioneers enjoying themselves at the banquetWithout a doubt, the banquet speech is the highlight of each year's national convention.  In addition, there are a few other signal convention speeches which are so monumental that they have often been confused for banquet speeches (such as "The Nature of Independence").
