The National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota will offer an NFB BELL Academy in Minneapolis this summer from August 7-18. No registration fee required. Thanks to the generous support of BLIND, Inc., we are able to provide this program free of charge to all students. Lunch will be provided each day. Every effort will be made to accommodate all dietary requests.
Each day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Students should be dropped off and picked up each day. If you are going to be late picking up your student, please call us. A late fee of $30 will be charged if there is no notice of a late pickup provided. A 30 dollar fee will also be charged if a student is picked up 30 minutes late, more than once, throughout the course of the program. If pickup and drop off times are a challenge for any reason, please let us know so we can arrange something ahead of time that will work for everyone.
Please reach out to us if transportation concerns are a barrier preventing a student from attending the program. We want to empower anyone who wants to attend and can assist with transportation on an as needed basis.
