In 2026, we will be participating in the Bay Bridge Run, Philadelphia Marathon, and the California International Marathon—chapters and affiliates can organize their own movement activities. Help us continue to change the public perception of the capacity of blind people while also building your chapter.
How to Participate
- Attend an informational session—join us to learn more about how easy it is to participate, how our chapters benefit, and hear some ideas for movement activities.
- Name a Movement Champion—each chapter should select a Movement Champion who will serve as the main point of contact, motivate and recruit participants, attend monthly informational meetings, and share updates and success stories.
- Plan a movement activity—activities should focus on awareness, engagement, and fundraising rather than complexity. Examples include: local walks, runs, or fitness challenges, chapter fitness or wellness events, team participation in the Bay Bridge Run, dance or yoga classes, and other creative and inclusive movement activities.
- Register—register your chapter for the NFB Coast-to-Coast Movement Challenge.
- Fundraise as a chapter—use the following form to collect contributions: nfb.org/contribute/C2C.
