Podcast and audio channels you want to be on!
The National Federation of the Blind, the transformative membership and advocacy organization of blind people, hosts two podcasts and a radio network with a growing listener base. The podcasts and our radio network inform both our members and our friends about the true nature of blindness, issues of interest to the blind, the latest accessible technology updates, and feature stories from a diverse group of blind people from across the country and around the world.
We have thousands of listeners and downloads across the following channels.
Access On
The NFB’s newest podcast, Access On, features breaking technology news, product demonstrations, reviews and comparisons, and interviews about the fast-changing world of technology. Access On is hosted by Jonathan Mosen, Executive Director of Accessibility Excellence at NFB and former producer and host of the Living Blindfully podcast.
Nation’s Blind
The Nation's Blind Podcast highlights personal narratives and perspectives with different themes related to blindness, independent living, and news from the National Federation of the Blind. The Nation’s Blind podcast is hosted by Anil Lewis, Executive Director of the NFB Blindness Initiatives department, and Melissa Riccobono, First Lady of the NFB.
NFBRN
In addition, the National Federation of the Blind hosts the National Federation of the Blind Radio Network (NFBRN), an all-new, always-on audio experience designed to transform, motivate, and invite you to raise expectations.

About National Federation of the Blind
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
Our core values are:
- Believe in blind people
- Lead courageously
- Champion collective action
- Foster inclusion
- Dream big
We are excited to work together to transform dreams into reality.
