M-Enabling Summit
The National Federation of the Blind is excited to participate in an upcoming global event regarding accessibility. The Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict) and the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) are hosting the M-Enabling Summit from October 15-17, 2024, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. This year’s theme is Transformations, Disruptions, and Opportunities for Digital Accessibility.
The M-Enabling Summit is an annual conference devoted to promoting, showcasing, and sharing knowledge around accessible technologies. This event gathers global accessibility experts and executives from government, education, and advocacy organizations to host hybrid plenary sessions, interactive roundtables, workshops, and more. Some of the notable speakers include:

- Anil Lewis, Executive Director, Blindness Initiatives, National Federation of the Blind
- Matt Ater, Vice President of Business Development, Vispero
- Mike May, Navigation Technology Advisor, American Printing House for the Blind
