Matching Game

Below you will find a variety of words with corresponding matches. For example, you will see peanut butter and jelly. We are providing you this list so that you can use these matches creatively to spice up your next Federation gathering. Here are a couple of specific ways that you can use them, but you can definitely come up with more!

Door Prizes: Change up the traditional way in which you draw for door prizes by giving every member the second portion of each match. Place the first part of each match in the hat, and instead of drawing for names, draw for a part of the match. For example, you can keep "spaghetti and", and give a member "meatball." Members will have a great time with this technique, and it will really liven up the way in which door prizes are distributed.

Getting To Know You: You can also use these names to help members get to know each other a little better. Place the number of matches in a hat that is equal to the number of people that you have in your event. Have each person draw a portion of the match, and find the person who has the other part of the match by going around the room shouting what is on their slip. For example, the "spaghetti" will look around for the "meatball." Once the matches are made, have each match learn a little about each other, and report back to the whole group on what they learned using their match name.
