The National Organization of Blind Black Leaders promotes the vocational, cultural, and social advancement of the blind, educates members on the intersecting problems faced by blind Black Americans, raises awareness of the contributions of the Black membership within the movement, encourages and support members pursuing leadership or other roles within the organization and takes these and other actions in furtherance of the goals of the National Federation of the Blind.
