The National Federation of the Blind of Alabama will host an NFB STEM2U program at the Alabama School for the Blind in Talladega on Saturday, August 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Parents will also have the opportunity to attend a parent seminar during the program.
Join us for an exciting day of investigation and hands-on discovery designed for blind and low-vision youth, ages 8–16. Meals and snacks will be provided. Transportation will not be provided.
A STEM2U kickoff gathering will be held on Friday, August 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This will be a time of fellowship and connection for students and families. Parents will also have an opportunity to meet one another and connect with Alabama affiliate president Barbara Manuel.
