Program Information

The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey will offer an NFB STEM2U program on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Joseph Kohn Training Center (130 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08904) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. Parking is available. The center is also accessible via the NJTransit Northeast Corridor line as well as AccessLink. Lunch will be provided, please alert us to any food allergies during registration. We will become astronomers through the study of astrophysics and engineering. Join us to build models of the James Webb Space Telescope, learn about the Earth’s atmosphere, discover why the Webb was sent to space, and explore how it studies space. STEM can be accessible; let us show you how! For more information, please contact Lia or Natasha.
