Each year, thousands of Federation members and friends contribute before and during the National Convention to various funds that support programs that expand opportunity, build community, and connect blind people nationwide.
Give $25
When you contribute 25 dollars or more by July 7 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time, you will be entered into the Give 25 Drawing. For every 25 dollar increment you contribute, your name will receive an entry. For example, if you give 50 dollars, your name will be entered into the drawing twice.
You could win:
- Round-trip transportation for two to the 2027 NFB National Convention
- Hotel at the convention
- Convention registration and banquet tickets for two
- $1,000 in walking-around cash
- OR... $2,000 CASH!
And, thanks to a generous matching gift from Aira, the visual interpreting service, your gift will be doubled up to $25,000.
Ask 4 Friends
Ask four or more friends or family members to contribute $25 or more on your behalf by July 7 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time to become a Federation Connector.
Federation Connectors will be entered into a special drawing to win a BrailleNote Evolve from HumanWare. You do not need to be present during the national convention to win.
Use the sample text and posts in our Connector Toolkit to invite others to contribute.

Hi [Name],
I’m reaching out to invite you to be part of the Keep NFB Advancing Connections, Community and Opportunity: Give $25 from the National Federation of the Blind, an organization that means so much to me.
Give $25 to support critical programs that expand opportunities for blind people. You’ll also be entered to win cash or a convention prize. And thanks to a matching grant from AIRA, the visual interpretation service, every dollar up to 25k will be doubled. Even better—you can support me as a Federation Connector. Just indicate that I prompted you to give, and I could win a prize AND know that I advanced the mission of an organization that helps me live the life I want.
Please use our Give $25 online donation form at https://nfb.org/Give25Donate.
Thanks for being part of this community. Your support helps bring blind people to their first National Convention, raises expectations, and expands opportunities for blind people nationwide.
