CORRECTION
In Voice Volume 19, No. 3, July 2004, we published an article
titled: "A POTENTIAL FOR TROUBLE: ERRORS IN REFILLING THE MINIMED 2007
IMPLANTABLE INSULIN PUMP."
The article contained a factual error, when it asserted that
refilling the pump's insulin reservoir was carried out by the patient. Medtronic
Minimed asserts the 207 pump is designed to be refilled by the doctor only.
