The fee to register for this program is $150.00 per child. The HHS Blind Children's Program may be able to assist parents with this cost. Please consult your caseworker and refer them to the state coordinator if they have questions. If your caseworker agrees to pay the tuition for this program, ask them to send service authorizations to [email protected]. The vendor number they should use is 1-742056167-6-000. If your child does not have an open case with the Blind Children's Program, give us a call to discuss other payment possibilities. We will work with parents if money is an issue. The deadline for applications is June 1, 2019. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. So register early. Lunch will be provided by the program each day. However, if your child has special dietary needs, please discuss this with program staff prior to the beginning of the academy. In some cases, it may be necessary to pack a lunch for your child if he/she has dietary needs that we cannot accommodate. No transportation will be provided.
While class does not begin until 8:30 am, parents are welcome to drop their children off as early as 8:00 am if that is necessary.
