The National Federation of the Blind Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning® (NFB BELL) Academy is a nationwide summer program dedicated to empowering blind and low-vision children, helping them grow into confident, independent individuals who can live the lives they envision. The NFB of Ohio is thrilled to host a residential program at the Ohio State School for the Blind this year and invites your child to enhance their Braille and nonvisual skills alongside other blind youth and inspiring blind role models.
The program will take place from June 15–20, 2025, with all meals provided. Registration is 125 dollars per participant, and scholarships are available. Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the program, but transportation will be provided for field trips. While the program is residential, we welcome students who may not be able to stay overnight. Please contact Eric to discuss scheduling options.
For more information, payment instructions or if you have any other questions, please contact Eric Duffy.
To register, please complete the NFB BELL® registration (also available in Spanish). Registration closes on June 1, 2025.
