The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland will offer an NFB BELL Academy at the National Federation of the Blind headquarters, August 7-18 in Baltimore this summer. Each day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
We are looking forward to having each and every student this summer! Our theme will be transportation, and there will be many activities provided around that theme along with many opportunities to practice independent living skills, Braille, and travel.
No registration fee required. Lunch is provided. Transportation will be provided for any field trips taken during the program. Students will ride in 15-passenger vans. Families are required to provide car seats for children that require one. Car seats may be provided the morning of our field trips. Please contact Brittany Bomboy for additional information.
