Once you have completed the registration form for your child, the NFB of Maryland will be in contact with you to further discuss the program, your child, his or her needs, etc. We will also schedule an in-person meeting with you and your child to answer questions about the program, get a better idea of your child's skills, etc. This meeting will most likely take place in mid-July. On the last day of the program, August 16, there will be a lunch and a graduation ceremony. Parents and family members will be welcome to attend.

Families will need to arrange transportation to and from the program each day. However, the NFB of Maryland may be able to help arrange carpools, or provide transportation for payment, or free of charge, depending on need and location. If you know you will, or may, need transportation, please contact Melissa Riccobono as soon as possible to discuss. Every effort will be made to make it possible for your child to attend, but the more notice the NFB of Maryland has about transportation needs, the more likely it will be we can help in this regard. Thank you for your understanding.
